  • Programming: I wrote all the instrumentation, basic GUI, and data analysis programs in python. For analyzing large data and expensive simulations, I also wrote c++ programs. Coplanar waveguide and Josephson junction Arbitrary Waveform Synthesizer design in KLayout and basic PCB design in KiCAD.
  • Scientific: I build the Lab from scratch. a) Femtosecond Laser aided fiber coupled electro-optic sampling of electromagnetic waves, ranging from 1 MHz to 300 GHz, travelling in a coplanar waveguide on a chip submerged in liquid Helium. b) Fiber coupled opto-electronic conversion of femtosecond Laser pulses to a broadband electromagnetic pulses, with spectral content up to 300 GHz, travelling in a coplanar waveguide on a chip submerged in liquid Helium. c) Studying properties of superconducting circuits in broadband electromagnetic waves.

  • Scientific: Femtosecond Lasers induced ultrafast current transients in GaAs bulk and quantum well samples, which resulted in emission of terahertz radiation. Studying the terahertz radiation, properties of the ultrafast currents were estimated. Important results: a) Detection of Berry curvature in GaAs quantum wells and b) Asymmetry in shift current tensor.
