As head of the technical department for IT operations, I saw my team grow from initially 20 to later more than 60 people and it was clear that the next organisational improvement was due. To reduce overhead, to introduce clearer responsibilities and to ensure faster processes in general, I transitioned the department from initially 3 teams into a much more agile and purpose-orientated organization with 5 teams at first and 120 employees in 9 teams years later. Along with remote work options, even long before the Corona pandemic, and smaller and more flexible team structures, new work models with entirely new mindsets have been introduced.

Zusammen mit der Möglichkeit der Fernarbeit, schon lange vor der Corona-Pandemie, und kleineren und flexibleren Teamstrukturen wurden neue Arbeitsmodelle mit völlig neuen Denkweisen eingeführt.

Ziel des Projekts war es, zukünftiges Wachstum zu sichern, indem jeder Organisationseinheit die Möglichkeit gegeben wurde, sich auf individuelle Technologien und Ziele zu konzentrieren. Meine Aufgabe bestand darin, eine führende Rolle im Veränderungsteam zu übernehmen und das Engagement der gesamten Organisation zu fördern.
