TÜV Rheinland is acquiring a lot of small/midsize companies (worldwide) to enhance their service portfolio. I was working as IT Project Manager to plan and coordinate the PMI (post merger integration).
Responsibilities:
Identifying potential M&A targets as well as strategic partnerships and cooperations
Due Diligence of companies potentially to be acquired
Planning and Coordination of post-merger integration M&A projects

I was responsible for managing the tollgates at the end of each project phase.
I ensured that all mandatory deliverables were finished in time and in quality.
I was responsible as System Administrator for the optical archiving solution ARCIS from SNI.
In addition I was designing and implementing several support applications in Visual Basic and Java.
I was also designing and implementing the server part to replace ARCIS with an individual solution in Perl under SINIX using Informix DB.
I participated in a MDA-driven project using the standard-software Cúram for social security insurance, using Rational Rose, Visual C++ and Java.
I was working in Wuerzburg and Stuttgart.
