"The IT specialist has impressed me with his diligence, his application to work, his methodology and desire for getting the work completed. He pays close attention to detail and has a systematic and logical approach to his work which has been key in making the implementation of Planview a success. This is the first review I have done for this IT specialist and I think he has had a number of challenges to overcome. Firstly he has had to work on his own as the rest of the team are London based. This has not been easy for him and from a management point of view has been more difficult for me. However, I have been pleased that he has shown that he is very self motivated, can use his initiative when necessary and does not need day to day management to get on and do his work. Through his work on the Planview implementation I believe this IT specialist has contributed to business strategy, plans and implementation tactics, he has been proactive in implementing solutions and as a consequence has added business value to our partners. I think the IT specialist has also reinforced the message of discipline which is needed in our development and implementation activities, he has an ordered and structured approach to work but is also flexible enough to accommodate changes to that approach when required. The IT specialist has played a major part in making the Planview 10.0 implementation and the subsequent Planview 9.0 decommissioning successful. He has in-depth knowledge of the IT and infrastructure requirements applications and as such he has greatly contributed to the success of the Planview implementation and subsequent ongoing support and maintenance. He had to quickly build up his knowledge of Planview and of the associated tools and processes required to implement it. He did this mostly by his own initiative and was another demonstration of his self motivation.
