2016 - 2019: Opel and GM domain vehicle architecture
Role: Electrical Interface Architect
Customer: OPEL Automobile Gmbh / General Motors, Frankfurt, Germany
Tasks:
- Lead the assigned inter-functional technical team to define the vehicle and system requirements based on future E / E topologies of the OEMs and derive vehicle, system, and component test requirements.
- Design and develop diagnostic concepts based on the respective drive type and E / E architecture. This includes topics such as diagnostic communication (OBD, UDS, SOVD), flash routines, variant concepts, etc. for the areas of end of line and aftersales. Also develop concepts for new connectivity topics such as remote or predictive diagnosis.
- Continuously improve the architectures & Diagnostic concepts to create cross-system at vehicle level and include all domains (powertrain, chassis, body, infotainment, etc.). Based on the most varied of architectures from classic embedded ECUs to SOA (service-oriented architecture), the use of MBSE (model based SW engineering) is also a component with a focus on feature-based requirements development.
- Ensuring a requirement-based E / E component analysis of hardware and construction scopes through to semiconductor architectures and their software content, as well as the subsequent derivation and implementation of measures, rounds off your field of activity.
- Assess Project risks, implement quick mitigation and provide transparent status to management.
